Tips when choosing colours

Home: If you've got patterned upholstery, an Oriental rug or large piece of artwork, pluck colors you like from the pattern. For a neutral wall paint color, look to the pattern's whites and beiges. - from www.hgtv.com

Clothes: Understand that color is based on seasons and every person's coloring can be described as a season. There are two characteristics that determine which season's palette that you can best wear: warm or cool and clear or muted. If your coloring is warm and clear you are a "spring", if you are cool and clear you are a "winter", warm and muted is "autumn" and cool and muted is "summer." - from www.wikihiw.com

Car: Choose a color depending on the climate where you live. For instance, if you live somewhere very hot, try not to choose a dark color that will attract heat. Choose silver or white if you live in a warm climate. -  from www.ehow.com
